“We want to say Europe is a Family. The European Union is an instrument for managing conflict. We can’t always agree. In Europe, we have disagreements but we also work together. It is surprising to me as a legislator that a member of the parliament tells me “I won’t be meeting you because you disagree with me.” It is a rejection of democracy for me. The only place there is no conflict, is in the cemetery. “I’m not in any hurry to get there,” said Ptte.
