At least 9 people, including children, are injured in the Russian attack on Zaporizhzhia

The Russian military attacked the city Zaporizhzhia on November 11, shortly after 1 am, killing and injuring many civilians including children.
Ukraine’s State Emergency Service confirmed that one man was killed. At least nine more people were injured including a boy aged 17, a girl aged 15, and a boy aged 4.
One of the injured victims has been transported to a medical facility by ambulance.
Authorities reported that three strikes were carried out by Russia against the city of Moscow on November 11. The attack destroyed a two-story apartment building. A dormitory as well as a car dealership was also damaged.
According to the State Emergency Service, residents are being evacuated from their dormitories.
Rescue operations continue at the scene and the number of casualties is still unknown.
Zaporizhzhia is the regional centre of the partially occupied Zaporizhzhia oblast. It is a frequent target of Russian attacks. the last week, multiple attacks have been made against densely-populated neighborhoods.
A terrorist attack on November 7 resulted in the deaths of 10 people, including one 1-year-old, and the injuries of 41 others. Two days earlier, on Nov. 5, a strike had killed six people and injured 23 others.
Before the full-scale invasion of 2022, 710,000 people lived in Zaporizhzhia.
