According to Commander-in-‘s statement, Russian forces suffered 7,905 deaths, 12,220 injuries, and 717 captures during the three-month Kursk offensive. Zelensky said that if Ukraine was given permission to use -range weapons against targets deep within Russia, it would be able to preemptively target every camp where are gathering.

**International Reaction**

The New York Times reported that Moscow was preparing an offensive in Kursk Oblast with a force of up to 50,000 soldiers. This includes both Russians and North Koreans. Vadym Fillashkin, the governor of Donetsk oblast, said that “this attack could threaten residents of settlements along the Vovcha River in both Donetsk and Dnipropetrovsk.”
