A meeting with opposition parties was held at the “Strong Georgia” office. Representatives from “Unity – National Movement” and “Coalition for Change” were present.
The opposition leaders discussed plans to take action over the next few days. They also talked about creating a new platform that will help them communicate better with European partner parties.
A leader of the “Coalition for Change”, Zura Japaridze, said that the opposition is still discussing whether to stage a protest. If there are any updates, they will let the public know.
Japaridze also mentioned that visa-free travel could be stopped if the government continues to act autocratically and move away from democratic principles. He stressed that this would not be a punishment for the people, but rather an assessment of the current situation in the country.
