Georgian Wines Shown at New York Fair
Eight Georgian wines, made in traditional clay pots called Qvevri, were shown at a wine fair in New York. This was a good chance for winemakers and visitors to learn about Georgia’s history, old winemaking ways, and culture.
The fair helped the country sell more of its wine in the US. The goal is to increase sales and create new partnerships. According to reports, Georgian wines sold 58% more in the US between January and October this year.
