**European Union Considers Suspending Visa-Free Travel for Georgia**
The European Union is thinking about taking away Georgia’s right to travel freely in the EU. This is because of Georgia’s actions against democracy.
**German Official Changes Stance**
Michael Roth, a German official, used to be against taking away this right. But now he thinks it’s a good idea. He said that Georgia’s government should pay for their actions. Roth wants Georgia to stop its anti-democratic policies and become more like the EU.
**A Warning to Georgia**
Roth warned Georgia that they can’t live in two different worlds. They can’t have close ties with Russia and also be part of the EU. He said this would be unfair. Roth compared it to Serbia’s “Serbian Way”, where they think they can have everything at once. But Roth is against this idea.
**Roth Speaks Out**
In an interview, Roth said that he now supports suspending visa-free travel for Georgia. He hopes that the EU and Georgia can work together to avoid a situation like this in the future. Roth also mentioned that many other European governments are already considering taking away Georgia’s right to travel freely in the EU.
