Georgian Agency Issues New Rules for Hotels and Accommodations.
The Georgian Competition and Consumer Protection Agency has made two important recommendations. These changes are about how hotels and accommodation facilities work with other businesses online.
The agency wants hotels and accommodations to follow fair competition rules when deciding who can offer their services. This means they need a good reason for choosing one business over another.
Hotels and accommodations also have to explain why they use the “exclusive provision” rule when working with online partners. This is so customers know what’s going on.
