FIFA President Visits Georgia This Week
On Wednesday, November 13th, Gianni Infantino, the head of FIFA, will arrive in Georgia. He plans to meet with officials from the country‘s football association and look at how well-equipped Georgia is for football.
Infantino will be joined by other high-ranking officials, including Youri Djorkaeff and Federico Raviglione. They will visit two important football sites: Dighomi Football Center and Mikheil Meskhi Stadium. Both were built with help from FIFA.
The main goal of Infantino’s visit is to improve the relationship between Georgia and FIFA. It will also show how much progress Georgia has made in developing its football program.
