Bogdanovecz Wins First Gold Ring

In recent tournament, Brent Bogdanovecz won the $ No-Limit Hold’em monster stack after two days of play. He took home $31,801 and his first gold ring by beating 33 other players.

Bogdanovecz said he plays poker as a pastime and has plenty of time to improve since retiring this year.

Shawn Sparks Wins Second Ring

Another was Shawn Sparks, who won the $400 No Limit Hold’em Double Stack after playing over two days against 32 other players. This is his second gold ring.

Sparks explained that his first win wasn’t just luck and joked about possibly attending his grandchild’s birthday party this weekend instead of playing in the next tournament.

Lori Gansel Sweeps Tournament

Lori Gansel, a Virginia native, won $17,349 for her first ring in the $400 no-Limit Hold’em Bounty. She also qualified for the $ million freeroll Tournament of Champions at the WSOP 2020.

James Cordray Wins First WSOP Cash and Ring

James Cordray was another winner at the WSOP Circuit, taking home his first WSOP cash and ring.
