**CEC Not Allowing Individual Applications for Re-election**
Leaders of the “Strong Georgia” coalition are protesting outside the Central Election Commission (CEC). Ana Natsvlishvili, a leader of the group, spoke to “InterpressNews” about their concerns.
According to Natsvlishvili, the CEC is not allowing individual participants of the rally to file an application for re-election. This has led to tensions between protesters and law enforcement officers.
**Protesters Demand New Elections**
Natsvlishvili explained that the CEC’s actions are a sign of their guilt in the recent elections. “They know they hijacked the election, so they’re scared,” she said. The courtyard outside the CEC building is filled with security forces, and protesters are being prevented from submitting applications.
**Protesters Call for Unity**
Natsvlishvili urged law enforcement officers to respect the rights of protesters. She also called on citizens to unite and demand new elections. “We want to see a unified front,” she said. “We’ll only get what we want if we stand together.”
The situation outside the CEC building remains tense, with police mobilized near the building. Protesters are demanding that their voices be heard.
