Georgian Ambassador Summoned to Moldova Over Prime Minister’s Comments
The ambassador of Georgia to Moldova was called to the country’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs. This is because of comments made by Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze.
Moldova is unhappy with how Kobakhidze spoke about their country. He said that if there were any problems with elections in Georgia, it was similar to what happened in Moldova. Moldova’s foreign ministry did not like this and says it was not correct.
Kobakhidze made his comments on November 7. He was talking about election issues in Georgia. The ambassador of Georgia, Davit Bochorishvili, met with the foreign ministry in Moldova to discuss these comments.
