**US Warships Avoided Damage in Yemen Attack**
A group of Houthi Rebels from Yemen fired a large number of missiles and drones at two US warships on Monday. But the ships were able to shoot down all the projectiles before they hit.
The attack was a surprise, as it came after the US had launched airstrikes against Houthi targets in Yemen. The Houthi movement is backed by Iran and has been causing problems for commercial shipping in the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden.
**No One Hurt**
According to the Pentagon, no one on board the two US ships was hurt during the attack. And despite the large number of missiles fired, neither ship was damaged.
The Houthi Rebels claimed that they had targeted a third US vessel, but this was not confirmed by the Pentagon.
**Warning from the US**
A spokesperson for the Pentagon, Air Force Major General Pat Ryder, said that the US would take action against the Houthis for their “illegal and reckless actions”. He made it clear that there would be consequences for any future attacks on US ships.
The Houthi Rebels have been causing problems for commercial shipping in the region since last year. They have sunk two vessels and killed crew members, and have also targeted ships linked to other countries.
