The suspect rented apartments with good views of defense and civilian facilities. He wanted to use homemade and kamikaze drones to attack Ukrainian soldiers. The SBU said they caught him before he could carry out these plans.

The authorities took his phone and computer as evidence. The suspect is now facing serious charges under Ukraine’s Criminal Code, which could lead to life imprisonment if he gets convicted.
