**Ukraine Gets $1.35 Billion US Grant**
The United States has given Ukraine a big grant of $1.35 billion to help the country with its humanitarian and social programs.
This is not the first time the US has helped Ukraine. In October 2024, they gave them $13 million for rehabilitation after the war. Ukraine’s economy is struggling because of Russia’s war against it.
The money from this new grant will go towards helping people in need and supporting important services like education and emergency rescue teams.
**A Big Help**
Ukraine has received a lot of help from the US since February 2022, when Russia started its aggression. The US has given them $28.2 billion so far, making them Ukraine’s biggest financial supporter.
The US is also providing humanitarian aid to help people survive during the cold winter months. They have already given $237 million for this purpose.
**Accountability Matters**
Ukraine’s Finance Minister Serhii Marchenko said that they are committed to using the money wisely and keeping track of how it is spent. This way, everyone can see what the money is being used for and make sure it helps those who need it most.
