Georgia’s Tourism on Display in Dubai
The National Tourism Administration of Georgia is attending a major tourism exhibition in Dubai. The “ATM Dubai 2023” event brings together tourism companies and hotels from around the world.
52 Georgian tourism companies and hotels are showcasing their products alongside the National Tourism Administration. Other participants include the Department of Tourism and Resorts of Adjara, Imereti Destination Management Organization, and Tbilisi City Hall. Tornike Rizhvadze, Chairman of the Government of Adjara, is also attending the exhibition.
Georgia’s Deputy Minister of Economy, Mariam Kvrivishvili, said that participating in this exhibition helps promote Georgia’s tourism potential. “Many people have visited our stand,” she said. “I’m confident that this exhibition will be a success for our country and increase awareness about Georgia in countries of the Persian Gulf.”
To boost tourist flows to Georgia, the National Tourism Administration is holding meetings with major tourism and airline companies from the Persian Gulf region. Maia Omiadze, head of the National Tourism Administration, is leading these talks.
A special stand at the exhibition allows visitors and representatives of the tourism sector to learn about Georgian tourist products.
The Dubai International Tourism Exhibition attracts over 2,000 companies from more than 150 countries. The event expects around 34,000 visitors.
