The local says that only some people can enter the parliament today. Russian journalists and others can go in, but not local opposition journalists.

**What Is The Agreement About?**

Russia and Abkhazia signed an agreement that lets Russian companies build investment projects in Abkhazia. This deal was opposed by leaders of public and in Abkhazia.

The agreement was signed on October 7 by Economy Minister Kristina Ozgan and her , Maxim Reshetnikov. On the same day, President and Prime Minister Alexander Ankvab presented the draft agreement to parliament.

To go into effect, this document must be approved by the People’s Assembly – Abkhazia’s parliament.
