**Russia Warns IAEA Inspectors: Leave Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Plant**
The Russian Foreign Ministry has warned that it can expel International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) inspectors from the occupied Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant if they find their work “inappropriate.”
This warning comes a day after the IAEA’s director, Rafael Grossi, said that monitors would stay at the plant until the war is “frozen.” Grossi made this statement to a German news agency.
**IAEA Inspectors Must Get Permission**
The Russian Foreign Ministry has said that IAEA experts can only be at the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant with Russia’s permission. They must leave if Russia does not consider their stay justified.
Russia’s Foreign Ministry also criticized Grossi for talking about a possible end to fighting. They said this is beyond the IAEA’s powers.
