Russian Chef Critic of Ukraine War Found Dead Serbia

A Russian chef who spoke out against Russia’ war on Ukraine was found dead in the Serbian , . Alexei Zimin was years old and had lived in London for many years.

Zimin’s body was discovered on November 12 in a rented apartment where he was staying. He was promoting his new book “Anglomania” during his visit to Serbia. The police said there were no suspicious circumstances surrounding his death, but they are still investigating.

The is ongoing and an autopsy and toxicology have been ordered. Zimin’s friends and colleagues at the London restaurant he co-founded, ZIMA, paid tribute to him on Instagram. They described him as a friend and colleague who was always there for them through good times and bad.

Zimin had spoken out against Russia’s war on Ukraine and had lived in London since Russia annexed in 2014. His death is the in a series of deaths involving Russian expatriates who have been critical of the war.
