**Ukrainian Soldiers to Get Bonus Pay for Fighting in Russia**
The Ukrainian government has made a new rule. Military personnel who fight in Russia will get extra money. This applies to soldiers currently involved in combat in the Kursk Oblast, which is a region of Russia.
The rule change was announced by Taras Melnychuk, a representative of the Ukrainian government’s parliament. It updates two previous rules about payment for military personnel. The new rule includes troops serving on Russian territory during martial law.

Soldiers who fight in Russia will get an extra 100,000 hryvnias (about $2,400) per month. This is only for the time they spend on combat missions. They will also get a one-time payment of 70,000 hryvnias (about $1,700) for every 30 days of combat.
**Other Payments**
Soldiers and police officers who perform missions in Russia will also get the extra monthly payment. Those who are wounded while on duty in Russia will get an additional 100,000 hryvnias. If a soldier dies during a combat mission in Russia, their relatives will receive 15 million hryvnias (about $363,000).
