However, the contract between Smartmatic and the election administration shows that the markers were indeed provided by Smartmatic. This information is publicly available and can be accessed through the electronic system of state procurement.
**Smartmatic’s Confirmation**
In their letter to the CEC, Smartmatic confirms that the marker shown in a photo was supplied as part of their contract for the October election process. The company also states that this marker complies with the requirements for black and fast-drying ink.
