**Abkhazia Won’t Agree to Investment Deal with Russia**
The government of occupied Abkhazia has decided not to adopt an investment agreement with Russia. This was announced by the press service of the so-called president, Aslan Bzhania.
According to the statement, Bzhania‘s administration is working on a document that will cancel the investment agreement project with Russia from parliament. The move aims to calm down tensions in the region.
Opposition groups have been demanding Bzhania’s resignation as “president”. Some protesters broke into the occupied region‘s parliament building.
The reason behind this decision remains unclear. However, it is believed to be a step towards stabilizing the situation in Abkhazia.
