**Ruling Party Reacts to Opposition‘s Actions**
The executive secretary of the “Georgian Dream” party, Mamuka Mdinaradze, has spoken out about recent events involving the opposition.
Mdinaradze was reacting to a incident where a representative from the “National Movement”, Davit Kirtadze, poured black paint on the chairman of the Central Election Commission, Giorgi Kalandarishvili. This happened during a heated meeting at the Central Election Commission, where election results were being discussed.
Kirtadze had made comments earlier that sparked controversy. He called Kalandarishvili “Tochka Ru” and his microphone was turned off because he went over time. The situation escalated when Kirtadze poured black paint on Kalandarishvili’s face, calling him a “black spot”.
Mdinaradze sees this incident as an example of the opposition’s aggressive tactics. He wrote that the black paint is a symbol of agency opposition, which started by branding people with a black spot and ended with visual branding.
