**Estonia Approves New Military for Ukraine**

On November 16, Estonia’ cabinet approved a proposal to send another package of military aid to Ukraine. The announced the decision.

The latest aid package will include ammunition and military equipment like uniforms, observation tools, sights, and protective gear. It is unclear when the package will arrive in Ukraine.

This approval comes just days after Hanno Pevkur visited Kyiv on November 11. He met with and announced a new aid package consisting of “clothing” and “small arms.”

Pevkur said, “Ukraine continues to need help from Estonia and the free world to protect itself.” The aid package was put together using Estonian ‘ reserves. This ensures that Estonia’s own defense capability is not harmed.

This will not be the last aid package sent by Estonia. In the near future, a competition- annual support measure for Estonian companies will be opened. This will enable Ukraine to assist with the production of the Estonian defense industry.

**Estonia Supports Ukraine**

Ukraine’s Defense Ministry announced on November 8 that an Estonian arms company, , will transfer air defense missiles to Ukraine for testing.

Estonia has been one of Ukraine’s strongest supporters since the start of the . They have offered humanitarian, developmental, and military assistance.

**A 10-Year Agreement**

In June, Estonia and Ukraine signed a 10-year bilateral security agreement. The deal stipulates that Estonia will supply Ukraine with defense aid worth over 100 million euros ($107 million).

Estonia has provided over 500 million euros ($527 million) in military aid to Ukraine since February 2022. This amounts to 1.4% of Estonia’s (GDP), ranking among the top military supporters of Ukraine.
