Oil and Gas Prices Shift on International Energy Exchange
Oil prices have gone down. A barrel of Brent oil now costs $93, which is 1.5% less than before. The American WTI oil price is around $89.
Natural gas prices have also changed. In the US, gas prices fell by 3.5%. However, in Europe, the drop was smaller at 1%.
Over the past year, natural gas prices on the exchange have dropped by 80% compared to the same time last year. This big change shows that market conditions are shifting.
Remember, energy markets can change quickly.
