**Opposition Party Entering Parliament Would Be “Sentence to Disappear”**
Giorgi Margvelashvili, a leader of the “Strong Georgia” group, has spoken out against opposition parties entering parliament. He believes that doing so would be a “sentence to disappear”.
Margvelashvili said that today, many people are involved in different ways to liberate their homeland from what they see as lies and corruption. He believes that ordinary Georgian voters have rejected these lies, and this is the start of a national movement.
**Legitimacy of Parliament**
When asked about the legitimacy of the parliament, Margvelashvili replied that any opposition party entering would essentially be writing its own “suicide verdict”. He said that if they become servants of Bidzina’s service, they will sign their own death warrant.
Margvelashvili stressed that this is a simple and clear situation. Any opposition force that enters parliament and becomes associated with Bidzina’s group will face the consequences. This, he believes, will not add any legitimacy to the one-party parliament.
**Rally Against Parliament**
Today, a rally called “Return the Voice” will be held near the Parliament of Georgia. Political parties and students have joined the protest. The purpose is to make their voices heard and demand change.
