New Coach for Georgia Rugby Team
A new coach is coming to the Georgian national rugby team. Richard Cockerill, a specialist from England, will take over as coach.
According to French sports publication “L’Équipe“, Cockerill has agreed to sign a two-year contract with the Georgian federation. He will start his job on November 23.
Cockerill used to be a player and a coach in other teams. He was recently let go from the Montpellier club because of their bad performance.
The Georgian national team is looking for improvement after a mixed World Cup. They drew against Portugal but lost to Australia, Fiji, and Wales. The new coach will try to help them do better in the future.
