Kelly Degnan: Georgian Leaders and All Georgians should Focus on the EU’s 12 Recommendations

US Ambassador to Georgia Kelly Degnan recently made a statement about the current situation. She emphasized that Georgian leaders and citizens should focus on implementing the ‘s 12 recommendations.

According to the ambassador, this is an opportunity for to have different opinions on how to address these recommendations. This would send a strong signal to the European Union that Georgia is working towards and cooperation.

Degnan noted that good work has already been done on implementing the ‘s recommendations. Now, the task is to gather all the views and opinions into one document that represents the diversity of Georgian society. She said that the European Union wants to see a strong response from Georgia, where many voices are united.

When asked about recent comments made by some Georgian officials, Degnan mentioned that they were not very helpful. However, she highlighted the importance of inclusive dialogue and exchange of ideas. The ambassador praised the ‘Glory to Ukraine’ conference in as a good example of this.

The conference focuses on Ukraine’s situation and how it affects the region. It is an opportunity for people to discuss and find solutions to achieve and stability, not just for Georgia but also for the entire region.
