**Ukraine Plans to Increase Drone and Missile Production**
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has announced plans to increase the production of long-range drones and missiles. This is part of Ukraine’s resilience plan, which aims to help the country‘s army compensate for its lack of artillery.
**30,000 Drones Next Year**
Zelensky said that Ukraine plans to produce at least 30,000 long-range drones next year. A new technology center will also be established to support this effort. The president also set a goal of producing 3,000 cruise missiles and drone-missile hybrids.
**Countering Russian Drones**
The statement follows an earlier announcement about the US planning to allocate $700-800 million in aid to help Ukraine develop its own long-range capabilities. Zelensky has also revealed that Ukraine is working on a countermeasure to the Russian Shahed-type drones.
**Advancing Missile Development**
In addition to drones, Ukraine is advancing its missile development. The country successfully tested its first domestically made ballistic missile, and Zelensky revealed that Ukraine had developed another domestic-made weapon, a missile-drone called Palianytsia.
