**Cameraman Arrested During Protest**
The deputy head of the main division of the patrol police department, Goga Memanishvili, has spoken out about the arrest of a cameraman from “Mtavari Arkhi“. Sergi Baramidze was arrested during a confrontation between police and protesters on Melikishvili avenue.
**Why Was He Arrested?**
Memanishvili says that if anyone breaks the law, they will be treated equally. The cameraman is currently being held at one of the police departments and will have to prove his innocence in court. Memanishvili claims that the patrol inspector explained the reason for the arrest to Baramidze.

Baramidze was filming the events on Melikishvili avenue when he was arrested. According to reports, law enforcement officers physically assaulted him during the arrest. The TV company has confirmed this information.
