**Georgian Citizens Detained by Occupying Forces**
A meeting was held in Ergneti, a village near the Tskhinvali occupation line. The main topics were the release of Georgian citizens detained by the occupying forces and the issue of “borderization“.
**Release of Georgian Citizens**
There are nine Georgian citizens being held by the occupying forces. Irakli Antadze, deputy director of the analytical department of the Georgian State Security Service, said that work is being done to get them released. He thanked international partners for their support.
**Borderization Issue**
The issue of “borderization” was also discussed at the meeting. This refers to the illegal construction of a border by the occupying forces. The central government reiterated its position that this is the main cause of problems along the occupation line. They called for freedom of movement across the border.
**Crossing Points**
The current rules for crossing points were also discussed. Currently, these points are only open for 10 days per month. The central government wants them to be open every day for local people.
**Murder of Tamaz Ginturi**
The murder of Tamaz Ginturi was raised again at the meeting. This is a serious issue that has not been solved yet. Until the law is enforced, it will remain an important topic for discussion.
