Russia Attacks Donetsk Village, Killing 11-Year-Old Boy
On November 20, a Russian attack on the village of Pershomaryivka in Donetsk Oblast resulted in the death of an 11-year-old boy. His 13-year-old sister was seriously injured and is being treated at a hospital in Dnipro.
The attack occurred when Russia launched Tornado multiple-launch rocket systems armed with cluster munitions into the village. The missile struck a yard, instantly killing the young boy.
A 63-year-old man was also injured in the attack and hospitalized. Russian artillery and aerial attacks on Donetsk Oblast settlements are a regular occurrence, resulting in civilian deaths and injuries.
The district center of Kramatorsk is located about 20 kilometers west of the front line, making it a target for Russia’s latest offensive push.
