North Korea Supplies Russia with Troops and Arms

According to Seoul , North Korea has been supplying Russia with -propelled howitzers and multiple rocket launchers. ‘s National Intelligence Service (NIS) reported that nearly 11,000 troops are stationed in Russia’s Kursk Oblast.

These troops are serving as part of Russia’s airborne and marine units and have been actively participating in battles during the Ukraine war. The NIS has confirmed that some of these troops have been killed or injured in combat.

North Korea is also providing , missiles, and other to Russia for use in the Russo-Ukrainian war. This information comes as Volodymyr recently suggested that North Korea could deploy up to 100,000 troops to support Russia.

However, South Korean intelligence has indicated that while this number is unconfirmed, additional troop deployments could occur if battles are prolonged and casualties mount. The NIS is investigating the number of North Korean casualties and whether any soldiers have surrendered.

It’s also been reported that North Korean Choe Son Hui recently met with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow to discuss significant issues, potentially including a future visit by Kim Jong Un, the leader of North Korea, to Russia.
