The executive secretary of the ruling party Georgian Dream (GD), Mamuka Mdinaradze, said that Honorary Chairman Bidzina Ivanishvili wants Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze to remain in office. The party’s political council fully supported this decision.

Three organizations that watched the parliamentary elections on October 26 said that the results cannot be considered free and fair. They are the International Society for Fair Elections and Democracy (ISFED), My Vote, and Georgia’s Young Lawyers Association (GYLA).

Two observation mission organizations have submitted a brief to the Constitutional Court of Georgia. This brief concerns a lawsuit filed by President Salome Zurabishvili challenging the official results of the parliamentary elections.

The Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe‘s Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights expressed concern over recent cases of excessive use of force by the police in dispersing rallies. They called on the authorities to engage in dialogue without violence.
**Protest Marches Continue**
People who have been demonstrating against the fraudulent elections are now marching in support of a 21-year-old student, Mate Devidze. He was arrested and faces 7 years in prison for allegedly assaulting police during a protest.
**Activists Face Charges**
Two activists were sentenced to 8 days of imprisonment after their arrest during a violent dispersal of a rally. Another activist was fined by the court. A total of 16 people were arrested during this incident.
**Georgian Fighter Killed in Ukraine**
The Foreign Ministry confirmed that another Georgian citizen, Levan Lokhishvili, was killed while fighting in Ukraine. This brings the unofficial death toll of Georgian fighters in Ukraine to 60.
