**Technological Advances Hold Up Russia’s Front Line Progress**
Ukraine‘s former commander-in-chief, Valerii Zaluzhnyi, says technological advancements on the battlefield will stop Russia’s front line progress until around 2027. In an interview with Ukrainska Pravda, published on November 23, Zaluzhnyi said that robots have made it impossible for soldiers to move.
**Adapting to New Technology**
Zaluzhnyi explained that the use of robots has led to a standstill in combat. Neither side can move forward due to the inability to fight against robotic opponents. However, this is only a temporary situation. By 2027, the use of such technology could become so widespread that serious breakthroughs on the front line would be possible again.
**Recent Russian Attacks**
In recent weeks, Russia has intensified its attacks along the eastern front in Ukraine. This has put Ukrainian forces under pressure as they struggle to defend key positions. Additionally, Russia continues to target civilians with new types of missiles and drones.
**New Ballistic Missile and Drone Developments**
On November 21, Russia launched a new intermediate-range ballistic missile against Dnipro. News also emerged that Russia is producing thermobaric drones capable of causing severe damage to civilians. These drones can cause injuries such as collapsed lungs, crushed eyeballs, and brain damage.
**Casualties on the Russian Side**
Despite its use of new technology, Russia has sustained record casualties since the start of the war. The Ukrainian General Staff estimates that 1,420 Russian soldiers were killed or wounded on November 22 alone.
