**Women’s March Blocks Street in Tbilisi**
A women’s march is taking place in the city of Tbilisi. The participants have blocked Leonidze Street to make their voices heard.
The marchers are on their way to the palace of Bidzina Ivanishvili, a wealthy businessman and honorary chairman of the Georgian Dream party. They plan to deliver a message to him directly.
**What Do the Marchers Want?**
The women carrying suitcases with messages like “Bidzina, go! I am staying!” and “Georgia, without a longing mother” are calling on Ivanishvili to leave Georgia. They want to tell him that they will not be forced to emigrate, but instead will fight for their freedom.
**Organizers Speak Out**
Baia Pataraia, head of the Safari union, said: “Freedom is what we’re fighting for. We won’t let anyone take it away from us.” She called on Ivanishvili to leave and promised that the women would continue to fight for their rights.
The march has been organized by several groups, including Women’s Movement, Safari, and others.
