**Ukraine Hits Russian Oil Depot with Drones**
On November 25, Ukraine’s military intelligence agency (HUR) launched drones against an oil depot in the western Russian city of Kaluga. A source within the agency told The Kyiv Independent that the attack targeted the Kaluganefteprodukt oil facility.
**Russian Authorities Respond**
The attack occurred at 0:30 a.m. on November 25, resulting in a series of blasts and a fire, according to the HUR source. Videos shared on local Telegram channels show a fire and active air defenses in the city. Kaluga Oblast Governor Vladislav Shapsha claimed that eight drones were shot down overnight, causing a fire at an industrial facility.
**Multiple Targets Hit**
Andrii Kovalenko, the counter-disinformation chief at Ukraine’s National Security and Defense Council, stated that drones also targeted Kaluga’s Taifun factory, which produces military equipment and supplies. However, it remains unclear whether the Taifun factory suffered damage.
**Regular Drone Strikes Continue**
This is not the first time Ukraine has launched drone strikes against Russian territory. Kyiv has been conducting regular attacks on military and industrial facilities to undermine Russia’s war effort in Ukraine.
