Russian Attacks on Ukraine Cause Injuries, Damage to Buildings
Over the past day, Russian attacks across Ukraine have injured at least five civilians. This includes a 13-year-old boy who was hurt in an attack on the city of Zaporizhzhia.
In Chernihiv Oblast, a Russian attack on the Koriukivka district on November 24 left a 28-year-old man injured, according to Governor Viacheslav Chaus. In Kherson Oblast, three people were injured and several buildings damaged due to Russian attacks, said Governor Oleksandr Prokudin.
Russian drone attacks also targeted various cities in Ukraine, including Zaporizhzhia, where the 13-year-old boy was hurt. Other cities that faced attacks but had no reported casualties include Cherkasy, Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Kharkiv, and Odesa, among others.
The situation escalated later on November 25, with Russia launching further attacks on Kharkiv and Odesa. Ukrainian air defenses successfully shot down 71 of the 145 Russian drones launched overnight, while another 71 were “lost” likely due to electronic warfare means.
