In Ukraine, Ukrainian forces have been adopting guerrilla tactics in the Kursk Oblast region as Russian troops continue to grow in number. Despite strengthened Russian defenses, Ukrainian troops remain present in the area, using their mobility and avoiding direct engagements.

Russia’s advance continues in eastern Ukraine, with the capture of two settlements and progress near nine others in Donetsk Oblast. Additionally, Russia has occupied Katerynivka and Yuriyivka in Donetsk Oblast.

A 22-year-old former British Army signalman was captured by Russian forces while fighting for Ukraine’s International Legion in the Kursk Oblast.
**ISW Reports Russian Escalation**
The Institute for the Study of War (ISW) reports that Russia has escalated its offensive, aiming to capture all of Donetsk Oblast. Since September 2024, Russian forces have gained over 1,100 square kilometers in southeastern Ukraine.

As of November 25, 2024, the approximate losses of Russian military equipment and personnel are:
