**Opposition Leaders Say Parliament Should Not Be Recognized**
Giorgi Vashadze, a leader of the “Unity National Movement”, says that only one thing can make a political group’s opposition to the government clear: canceling their lists and refusing mandates.
Vashadze made these comments at a briefing held at his party‘s office. He said that other arguments against the government are not valid if the lists are not canceled. “All other arguments are lies,” he stated.
**Cancel Lists, Refuse Mandates**
According to Vashadze, for international recognition of opposition policies, all opposition groups should cancel their lists and mandates. This would break legal ties with the current government, led by the “Georgian Dream” party.
He criticized Giorgi Gakharia‘s party, saying they had made an “absurd argument”. They claimed that the parliament should be recognized as illegitimate, but the lists should not be canceled.
