New Government in Georgia to be Approved on Thursday
The new government of Georgia will be officially approved this week. This was announced by Shalva Papuashvili, the Chairman of the Parliament.
Today and tomorrow, committees will discuss the composition and program of the government. After that, they will be discussed at a session with all political parties, called a faction session, and then at a meeting of all members of parliament, called a plenary session.
Papuashvili said: “The composition of the government is already presented. Discussions will happen today and tomorrow in the committees. Then we’ll discuss it on Thursday at the faction session, followed by the plenary session, and approve the new government.”
