The European Union (EU) Ambassador to Ukraine, Katarína Mathernová, says the country is on track to join the EU by 2030. In an interview with a local news source, NV, she praised Ukraine’s efforts in digital leadership and reforms.
Mathernová noted that while there are still challenges to overcome, she is optimistic about Ukraine’s potential membership. The country officially started its accession negotiations with the EU in June 2024.
