**Biden Administration May Not Deliver Promised Aid to Ukraine**
The US government may not be able to send the promised billions of dollars in aid to Ukraine before President-elect Donald Trump takes office. According to a report by The Wall Street Journal, the Biden administration has $6.5 billion left to transfer to Ukraine. However, it’s running out of time to use this money.
**Logistical Challenges**
The Pentagon is facing challenges in delivering arms to Ukraine. It has reached its monthly limit on weapons shipments and needs to find a way to get more equipment to Ukraine quickly. To exhaust the remaining funds, the US would need to send $110 million worth of weaponry to Ukraine every day for December and January.
**Incoming Trump Administration**
A congressional source told The Wall Street Journal that it’s “impossible” to deliver the promised aid in time. A Pentagon source said that the current plan is to send $500-750 million worth of weapons from US stockpiles to Ukraine each month. These shipments will mainly consist of artillery and ammunition, which are easier to transport.
**Uncertainty Ahead**
The remaining decisions on aid will likely fall to President-elect Trump’s administration. There are concerns that Trump’s victory might lead to the US withdrawing its military support for Ukraine, leaving it up to European allies to help Kyiv resist Russia‘s war.
