**Attack on Swedish Embassy in Moscow**
On November 28th, three unidentified attackers targeted the Swedish Embassy in Moscow. They threw bottles and sprayed gas inside the embassy’s security area before being arrested by police.
**Video Footage Released**
The incident was documented by video footage released by the Belarusian news service Nexta. The footage shows the attackers launching an assault on the diplomatic premises.
**Government Reaction**
The Swedish Foreign Ministry is in contact with the Moscow embassy and Russian authorities about the attack. This is not the first time the embassy has been targeted, with a similar incident happening in February after Hungary approved Sweden’s NATO membership.
**Background to the Attack**
The attack comes as Sweden provides military and humanitarian support for Ukraine. In September, Sweden proposed a €400 million military aid package that included training for Ukrainian fighter pilots on Gripen aircraft. Earlier this month, Sweden announced an additional civilian protection assistance package worth 100 million Swedish kronor (approximately $9.33 million).
