Parliament Backs New Government
The Georgian parliament voted in favor of the new government. All ministers agreed with the vote, making it unanimous. This happened after 84 people supported the government.
A meeting was held at the parliament where Irakli Kobakhidze presented the government’s plan to the “Georgian Dream” party members. He spoke about what the government wants to do. Mamuka Mdinaradze also talked during this time.
No questions were asked to Kobakhidze during his speech. After Mdinaradze finished speaking, people voted on the new government and the meeting ended.
Before the meeting, the “Georgian Dream” party members met with the minister candidates in smaller groups. This was part of a process to approve the new ministers.
