President: I called the diplomatic corp today and told them they were a bit late with their evaluations. I asked them to take all the decisions which have been acceptable for a long time now.  

**President Urges Diplomatic Corps to Support New Elections**

The President of Georgia, Salome Zurabishvili, called on the diplomatic corps to take action. She told them that their evaluations were late and asked for their support in holding new elections.

According to the President, there is no need to prove anything more. “Everything is clear,” she said. She emphasized that Putin’s statement of satisfaction with the current situation was evidence of what was happening.

The President called on the diplomatic corps to make decisions based on long-standing rules and help bring about new elections. This, she said, was the demand of both her government and the people.

Zurabishvili made these statements at a briefing with opposition party representatives in the Orbeliani Palace.
