**Georgia‘s Government Criticized**
A rally was held on Rustaveli Avenue in Georgia. The leader of “Gakharia for Georgia“, Giorgi Gakharia, spoke at the event.
He said that people who want Georgia to be part of Europe should have attended the rally. He emphasized that there is no place for party politics here. Many supporters of the “Dream” party were expected to join in. This party had previously worked towards moving Georgia closer to Europe.
Gakharia believes that those who are against this goal understand its importance. They know what it means to reject the country‘s European perspective. He noted that Georgia is actually in a better shape than Moldova, but has an ineffective government. The main obstacle between Georgia and the European Union is the government itself.
The rally was described as peaceful. Gakharia expressed frustration with the government’s actions. Instead of taking action, they are said to be partying and making foolish decisions. He emphasized that this is not a rush to get anywhere, but rather a demonstration against the government.
