Diplomats Put Own Country First, Not EU: Deputy Speaker
The Deputy Speaker of the Parliament of Georgia, Nino Tsilosani, has spoken out about diplomats working for her country. She thinks they should put Georgia’s interests first.
Tsilosani was reacting to a scandal involving the former Prime Minister and some diplomats. The diplomats were accused of saying that they would do anything to get more money from Europe. This made Tsilosani very upset.
She said: “If you work for our Ministry of Foreign Affairs, your main priority should be Georgia, not the EU.”
