Georgia Stays on Track for EU Membership
The Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze, spoke at a press conference recently. He said that the country remains committed to joining the European Union.
According to Kobakhidze, the Georgian government plans to take steps to join the EU by 2030. This goal was set a while ago and the government is sticking to it.
Kobakhidze emphasized that Georgia’s goal is not to be forced into membership through threats or pressure. He also stressed that the government will not let anyone divide Georgian society or use artificial methods to achieve their goals.
