Russian strikes in Ukraine have caused a lot of damage. At least 11 people were killed and at least 51 others were hurt on December 1.
Russia launched 78 drones from the cities of Kursk, Orel, and Bryansk. Ukrainian forces shot down 32 of them using anti-aircraft missiles and electronic warfare units. However, some drones got through and caused harm.
In one attack in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast on November 30, four people were killed and at least 24 others were hurt. The President said that Russia targeted a village with a missile strike.
Some of the victims are still in hospital. Seven people are in serious condition, including an 11-year-old boy who was hurt in the attack.
In Kherson Oblast, Russia attacked 14 settlements on December 1. Two people were killed and another 15 were hurt. In one incident, a public transport vehicle was hit by a drone, killing at least three people and injuring seven others.
There were also attacks in Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia Oblasts. Two people were killed in Myrnohrad, and four others were injured. A 50-year-old man was hurt when Russian forces attacked his village with an FPV drone.
