President of Georgia Salome Zurabishvili held a briefing at the Orbeliani palace. She said that there is a national agreement on what needs to be done today.
This agreement, according to the president, means that the country is moving towards Europe and not towards Russia. This was also stated as one of the country’s goals. The society has stood by this goal, even if some individuals deviated from it.
Zurabishvili expressed her wish for peace and courage to those standing outside the palace. She had invited various groups, including political parties and representatives from the non-governmental and civil sectors, to the meeting.
